Open Source...the next big Beer?

According to the Wired News
a group of students from IT University Copenhagen have created a recipe for a beer containing herbal supplement guarana that they are marketing using the open source model from the IT marketplace. They allegedly want to use the format to get their recipe out there and see how it will be improved by many different brewers tweaking it. The catch is that you must give them the credit if you make money selling a version of their brew and you must post the recipe for your successful libation on their website. I thought this was a pretty cool idea and will follow the story in the future to see what comes of it.
